Nadine Blythe is an Australian Artist living and working in Perth, Western Australia. After her family moved from Victoria, Nadine grew up on the island state of Tasmania where her love of nature and all things beautiful began. She studied fine art at the University of Tasmania School of Art majoring in printmaking under the mentorship of Raymond Arnold, Milan Milojevic and Helen Wright. While studying she undertook a residency program at the Glasgow School of Art and the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, University of Dundee Scotland. She moved with her family to Virginia USA in 2017 where she continued to paint. In 2021 Nadine and her family moved back to Australia. This series of works explores concepts of femininity, place and her experiences of the political and environmental impact of life in the USA and the wonder and beauty of coming home to Australia.
